Robotix Institute Launches Coding and Programming Classes at the French International School in Lusaka

We’re excited to announce that Robotix Institute has officially started coding and programming classes at the French International School in Lusaka! As part of our mission to inspire young minds and foster technological literacy in Zambia, these new classes will empower students with the tools to create, innovate, and explore the world of robotics and programming.

Why Coding and Robotics?

The world is rapidly evolving, and the demand for tech-savvy individuals is increasing across all industries. At Robotix Institute, we believe that introducing children to technology at an early age can be transformational. Our goal is to nurture a generation of innovators who will not only participate in the digital revolution but also lead it.

Coding and robotics are much more than learning to write lines of code or assemble parts; they teach problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. These are essential skills in today’s world, no matter the career path one chooses to follow.

About the Program

The new classes at the French International School are designed to be hands-on, engaging, and age-appropriate for school-aged children. The curriculum combines two core areas: visual programming and robotics, making learning fun while giving students the foundation they need to understand how technology works.

Students will start by learning the basics of visual programming using platforms like Scratch, which is perfect for younger learners. It allows children to create their own games, animations, and interactive stories. From there, they will progress to more advanced topics, such as coding for robots, designing simple circuits, and understanding how sensors and motors work.

The program aims to build essential skills that prepare students for a future where technology is integrated into every aspect of life. It culminates in real-world applications, where students can program their own robots and watch their creations in action.
